at last at last... a wave of inspiration hit me during the weekend :D

100% illustrator this time. im tryin to move away from using flash as my vector tool coz i realized how hard it would be if i used flash to create vectors for print. not to mention creating vector art using 3 programs like i used to (flash, illustrator and Photoshop).

i also tried a new style. instead of tracing the girl with the pen tool, i used the brush combined with my wacom pen tablet. wanted it to have an "illustrated feel". anyway, i hope that i've achieved what i've been trying.

some notes. i changed the girls skin tone 3 times T____T i hate doing skin. thats why i like doing clothes with folds. easier to do imho.
model name: Reon (or somtimes Leon) Kadena. check her out. she's kinda cute. but i think Ryoko Hirosue and Zhao Wei are the cutest muheheh... :p

EDIT: Fixed the flesh drips. the first version had an outline. there shouldnt have been any outline so i redid them :P bugger meh :P

hey man this is totally awesome! the outlines and hair are a bit awkward looking, just b/c they are so thick with fairly blunt ends. since im mainly a flash user i wouldnt know how to get around that with the brush tool in illustrator, but im sure there is some way. overall the design rocks though.

Very nice again ian..i like the colours...and the girl u mentioned...nicely drawn...though i dunno what u said about the tools u used..haha..but one thing...for me..i think fewer lines on the skin will be better..esp on the tummy..
